Hi, Thank you for your message. This is a residential part of the canalbelt. This exact part is quiet, but literally 100m to you left is a popular shopping/restaurant street.

Thank you for your question. There are parking spaces on the streets, but these are very expansive. There are different parking garage options, who vary in prices depending how close or far away they are from the area of the apartment.

Charming rental, optimal location for walking to museums and quiet neighborhood.

Great location.

It was perfect. They only thing that was less than perfect was the narrow staircase. But, that is the result of being a historic building and part of the charm.

Had the best time in Amsterdam

We could not get a/c to work so we slept with the windows open. It was a little warm still at night which made it difficult to go to sleep, but we didn’t have any really early plans. The location was lovely, right on the canal. The apartment was delightful, so old world European and modernized so nicely

We had a really good time and would stay again.

The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable. The location is superb - right near a tram stop allowing easy access to the main train station etc., and within walking distance of many of Amsterdam's main attractions

The staircase is very narrow and steep but we knew of this in advance.

A beautiful location on the canal in a quiet area in the center of the city

Fantastic location in the center of the city and yet still a quiet retreat. We had no need for public transportation--can walk to everything! Wonderful window to the canal, with dark curtains so that you can also sleep in. Well-stocked kitchen amenities. A block away from Albert Heijn, so getting groceries is also easy. Near some bakeries and cafes as well as a very nice Indonesian restaurant. Loved that this place was away from the crowds and most tourists.

We liked everything! Stairs are steep and bathroom is smallish (but new and clean)--that is part of Amsterdam.

A wonderful home base for exploring Amsterdam.

Very lovely apartment in an excellent location. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. The area is very quiet at night, which is good because these old historic buildings can be quite loud with single pane windows and thin floor/ceilings. I would not hesitate to stay here again. We felt like locals living here. And David, the apartment caretaker, could not have been friendlier, more helpful with suggestions, or more responsive.

The bathroom is small. It worked fine for us, but if you require a lot of space to move around in the bathroom for whatever reason this isn't the place for you. It is a quiet street and the upstairs and downstairs neighbors are very respectful, but noise does travel into the apartment. For instance, there was construction going on next door which was quite loud during the daytime while we were there.

A very enjoyable autumn break, our third visit to Amsterdam and it never disappoints, so much to do and a lovely city to

We liked the position of the property, wonderful watching the boats going by on the canal from the apartment window, and a peaceful view from the rear window. very well equipped property, with comfortable bed, seating area and good shower room. lots of cafes , restaurants, supermarket an easy walk away. we hired bikes from tge nearby bike shop and enjoyed exploring the city and taking the free ferry across to north Amsterdam and riding out into the countryside.

Nothing, but as is mentioned the stairs are very steep, typical of Dutch town houses, David the very helpful property manager, helped with our suitcases.
